He can Soul-read, and has the unnatural talent of being able to take massive amounts of damage and heal perfectly afterwards. It takes a lot to down this Raveen, as wounds heal in a sort of crackling-blue energy within minutes of being received. However, mortal wounds, have a habit of killing him - but for some reason he still heals afterwards and finds himself ressurrected a beat later. So someone damaging his heart would result in him 'dying', but coming back to life a few minutes later. Sometimes after receiving wounds, even after they've healed, he still suffers from phantom pains in the areas the wounds were - and those can remain for days afterwards.

This trait isn't solely his alone, his Father also had this seemingly immortal trait to him. However, it's through his Father that he knows this 'gift' isn't really a gift, it's more of a curse. While he can heal after receiving a lot of damage, there is one fatal wound that his body would not be capable of healing from. He knows this for a fact, since someone killed his Father by beheading him and the healing factor was unable to heal the Raveen. Unlike others who may have a chance of still being healed after such damage, their bloodline seems to lack that particular favour. To be beheaded means absolute death for them.

Knowing this, he'll go out of his way to make sure he keeps his neck intact. He was taught how to use a weapon of his choice - a sword he carries with him always - that has the added power of causing electrical damage to those it wounds. A direct hit from this sword can render a muscle paralyzed, and the body dying from the aftershocks.

He's been around for a while, slipping by and somehow managing to survive through a lot of things that have killed others in the past. How old he actually is, though, is for him alone to know. However he seems to have a bit of knowledge of the past, to such an extent one might think he was actually there.
