She can Mindspeak, but cannot read minds. She can teleport at will, has mild control over fire (she can manipulate it, but not create it), and perfect Night Vision. She is naturally immune to poison and venoms. Her Mother was a mix of Animal and Insect, and had no actual Animal traits, she inherited this.
The Daughter of the lead members of the Pride of the Scorpion's Courage, she grew up in the sacred territory of Scorpion Valley, in the company of her Birth Pride and siblings. She is the youngest sister of Cuurso and Hytana.
When she was just entering teenhood she left for an outer-realm where she shared territory with an over-confident Fire Kat. She remained there until adulthood, when the realm closed off and she returned to the Ice Plains. This was well before the Demon Attacks. She returned to Scorpion Valley where she crossed paths with both Mayakashi and the twin-souls Yin and Yang. She gained some battle wisdom from the late Battle Master, but most of her fighting skills were garnered from her time spent with Yin and Yang. She was the sixth, and last, student the duo ever took on.
From this training she built up a fairly skilled fighting style that relied not on abilities or powers, but on her own physical strength and speed. As well as the strength of her acidic tongue - Yin and Yang often commented that sometimes words could do more harm that physical blows, or at the very least cause an opponent to lose concentration long enough for the physical attack to be thrown.
The Demon attacks are something she remembers well, having had a front-row seat in them. She remembers the time when the Pride of the Scorpion's Courage was attacked, and how the deaths of several members resulted in her older Brother taking things in to his own paws. She was never the type to beg for anything, but she tried everything to stop Cuurso from sacrificing himself to stop Yinali. In the end she didn't get her wish, with Cuurso having left for Thunder and her Father dragging her away to a safe place. She never got to see her Brother again.
On the way to safety the survivors of the Pride were attacked yet again. They ended up scattering, and lost contact with each other. Prema ended up near Demon Valley, where she chose to hide-out for a couple months. While there she kept a close eye on the activity of the Demons, hoping to have a chance to make a move against them that would buy those in Thunder time. Her Brother saw fit to die for them, and if he was willing to make that sacrifice for the Domestics, then so was she.
Eventually she ended up taking information to the Demon Hunters, who used what she provided to mount an assault on the South. She accompanied them on this attack, having some skills in battle to offer as well as her information-gathering skills. Being naturally fast and adept at concealing herself without the aid of powers, she was a prime choice for the role of 'spy'.
Infiltrating the Demon camps in the South was easier said than done, but she eventually did so and ended up helping the Demon Hunters put a stop to the Demons in the eastern areas of the South. For Months she remained there, helping where and when she could, until at last she returned to Thunder Valley.
It was shortly after Yinali's strike against Thunder that she arrived, taking in the sight of a forever-changed area that was filled with islands she had never seen. For a while she felt bitter about it, seeing her family's sacrifices as meaningless in the larger picture of things. Cuurso had only bought Thunder a couple months - he hadn't saved it. She had lost her older Brother, who she had looked up to since cubhood, for nothing. The Domestics didn't even seem to realize that those from Scorpion Valley who had survived had been helping them all along.
She left once more to tag along with the Demon Hunters, where she helped remove the presence of Demons in the East, before once more returning to Thunder. By luck she had managed to time her arrival along with the Great Evil's attempt at removing the Shades, and due to her previous time as a Domestic ended up being taken along for a ride in time. Instead of being thrown immediately in to the Thunder Plateau, however, she was thrown in to an Outer-Realm. |
