They were healers; givers of life and the soothers of pain and suffering. They breathed life back in to those who had had it ripped from them in pain and torement -- making those poor victims whole and reborn anew. They healed injuries gained in battles, made whole once again that which was torn and bruised, and took from their patients the suffering and pain that had been created. For a healer was in their glory when they could do their work; to do what they had been born to do. Ah, that was glorious indeed! |
